Three races to watch on Election Day

I’m watching three specific House races on election night for what they can tell us about the presidential race.

And lucky for all you politics sickos, they’re all on the East Coast so their returns should come in early-ish. Famous last words.

1. PA-08: If the Dem. incumbent wins by 2 or more points, great news for Dems and Harris. If the GOP challenger wins, great sign for Trump winning PA.

2. NY-22: If Dems. DON’T flip this seat, their chances of winning the House majority go way, way down.

3. VA-07: if Dems. win by MORE than 5 points, Dems. should be excited about the suburban district returns that the presidential race will hinge on. If the GOP wins the seat outright, the GOP is in for a good night across the board.

I could end up looking stupid (wouldn’t be the first time), but these are my three races to watch come Tuesday. Stay strong my fellow civics nerds. USA.
