Once again, Dr. Casey B. hits the nail on the head -- we can disagree, sometimes strongly, sometimes we 'lose' in our electoral choices, but we should all be condemning political violence. Thank you!
I unfriended someone on Facebook who wished that a trump had been killed. Everyone should do likewise. (See the New York Times editorial board statement over the weekend on why Trump should not serve a second term.)
Casey, I thought your statement was timely, important, and well-balanced. I appreciate you taking the time to address this pivotal turning point in the country. However, let's also find out the true story of what happened. It's always good to know what went wrong and what went right and have some takeaways from it.
It's interesting, I found myself on the golf course the following day and the rhetoric from individuals was appalling. I had to check them, asking questions like, why do you want a human being to die? what would you say to their families? what if that was your husband or wife? Everyone is a human being, NO ONE deserves what happened Saturday. I hope your message resonates with both political streams and doesn't find itself as a temporary mindset.

I 100% agree with your statement because it speaks on the bigger picture of what we need most in this country, unification!
Out of curiosity, could your statement resonate in China, North Korea, Russia? Thoughts?
